Shirley Irene (Camp) Hoyrup, 86, of Dillon passed away April 6, 2016. Shirley was born December 21, 1929 to Victor and Velma Camp in Midwest, WY. The family later moved to Dillon, where Shirley graduated from Beaverhead County High School. She married Jack Hoyrup in 1948; they later divorced. An accomplished crafter, Shirley enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing many items for family and friends. Although she occasionally held jobs in local restaurants, she was first of all a homemaker and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her sense of humor was appreciated by all who met her, and will be greatly missed. Survivors include children Nick (Christy) Hoyrup of Dillon; Susan (Joe) Drivdahl of Glendive; Bret (Debbie) Hoyrup of Helena; Lee Hoyrup (Timothy Ohm) of Grover Beach, CA; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Lila Pemberton and Hap C and granddaughters Brandy Jean and Ekho Leah Hoyrup. A private service for the family will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Beaverhead County Humane Society or Barrett Hospital Home Health Care and Hospice fund.
