Sharon Joanne Leonaitis

Joanne Leonaitis passed away on February 17, 2024, in Dillon, MT at the age of 89. She was born September 17, 1934 in Waukegan, Illinois.

She was a Keypunch Operator for Outboard Marine Corporation. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Joanne is survived by her daughters Laurie (Mike )Blinn and Kerrie (Mike) Harwig, five grandchildren (Matt, Greg, Kristie, Jeremy and Brian), eight great grandchildren (Caleb, Jessica, Morgan, Izabelle, Talon, Tristan, Lily and Willow), and two sister-in-laws Mary Jo Mordhorst and Rita Leonaitis. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceeding her in death was her husband Walter Leonaitis, her parents Warren and Lucille (Chelstad) Mordhorst and her brother Ronald Mordhorst.

Visitation will be at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 620 Grove Avenue, Waukegan at 10am on March 1 with service following at 11. Internment will follow at North Shore Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
