RICHARD (DICK) ALLEN LEVESQUE Our Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Uncle passed away at home on Aug. 26, 2014. Dick was born on Jan. 18, 1940 in Oakland Ca. He was raised in San Francisco, Ca. That is where he determined he would be a sailor in the United States Coast Guard.  He joined the Coast Guard in 1957. In 1958 He met and married Judith Fettel. They had three children together. He proudly and honorably served until his retirement in 1977. He retired once again from working in Ca. in 1990 moving to Tn. He was a country DJ at WMUF and then a 911 dispatch officer at the Paris, Tn. police dept. He fully retired in 2002. He was a very accomplished and well known artist specializing in Maritime paintings. He also wrote and published a childrens book "Norman" loved by many. At the passing of his beloved Judy in 2013 he left Tn. to travel the open roads in his home on wheels "Serenity". With failing health he was last stationed in Dillon, Mt. under the loving care of his daughter and son in law. Dick was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Judy Ann Levesque, parents Art and Pat Levesque, Brother Samuel, and grandson Shane Allen Waltner. He is survived by daughter, Pattie Waltner (Phil) Dillon Mt, son, Rick Levesque Salem Or. and daughter Tara Levesque Stayton Or. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Services will be at a later date in Oregon, In lieu of flowers dad requested any donations be made to Barrett Hospital Hospice.
