Nancy Haugan Edsall

Nancy Ann Haugan Edsall Nancy found comfort and peace in the arms of our Lord on Saturday, October 18, 2014 in Dillon, Montana.  Nancy was 55 years old. Born to Harold and Nellie Haugan in White Sulphur Springs, Montana on May 5, 1959.  Nancy attended school in White Sulphur Springs and graduated high school from Bozeman in 1977.  She continued her education at Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix, AZ.  Nancy will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, laugh and gentle concern for others.  Nancy was born on Cinco De Mayo and she always enjoyed her birthday to it's fullest with her special "Arriba" and her fiesta party décor.   Nancy had a special talent of photographing the beautiful scenery of Montana, wildflowers and butterflies.  She was a lover of music, collected all sorts of musical instruments, and loved to dance and sing.  Nancy had a zest for life and wanted to always have fun.  She is survived by her daughter, Kristina Edsall, siblings Kari(Mike) Ferguson, Hal(Pat) Haugan, David Haugan, brother-in-law Bob Stiles. Nieces Lindsay(Ryan) Gaasch , Anna and Sarah Haugan, Richelle Richeson, Sarah Edsall. Nephews, Ben and Evan(Laura) Haugan, Tanner and Barrett Ferguson, and Spencer Edsall.  Great nieces Murphy, and Piper Belle, and great nephew Ryder Gaasch.  Proceeded in death by her parents Harold and Nellie Haugan, sister Deborah Stiles, partner Matt McDermott, and father-in-law Glen Edsall. Nancy has been attending MAC (Missoula Alliance Church). She had finally found the church community she had always looked for. She was just recently baptized in the Blackfoot River on a beautiful summer day in August.  Services will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 2 o'clock at MAC (Missoula Alliance Church), officiated by Pastor Jeff Valentine. Honorary Pallbearers are Tanner Ferguson, Barrett Ferguson, Spencer Edsall, Ryan and Ryder Gaasch, Bob Stiles, Mike McDermott and Kyle Edsall.  At a later date, per Nancy's wishes, her ashes will be laid to rest at the Lennep Cemetery.  Donations can be made to AFSP (American Foundation Suicide Prevention) or the charity of your choice.
