Michael Knapp

Michael Richard Knapp passed away May 14th, 2023, of heart failure at his

residence in Dillon, Montana, at age 70.

Mike was born in Billings Montana in 1952. He was the oldest out of eight

children. He is survived by his parents Richard Knapp of Dillon Montana and Laura

(Bowen) Knapp, of Spokane Washington. He has seven siblings: Brent Knapp of

Mullan, Idaho; Debbie Wolffersdorff (Billy), of Portland, Tennessee; Frances Krey

of Greeley, Colorado; Kenneth Knapp of Deer Park, Washington; Linda Talbott

(David), of Sheridan, Montana; Laurae Clark (Steve) of Bozeman, Montana, and

Floyd Knapp of Spokane Washington. He is survived by many nieces and

nephews. He was preceded in death by his late wife Judy Knapp and a niece.

Mike graduated high school in 1970 from Harrison, Montana. He joined the Army

after high school and was deployed during the Vietnam War. He worked various

ranch jobs after getting out of the army.

Mikes hobbies were listening to and collecting country music records, tapes &

CD’s, as well as clipping newspaper and magazine articles and working word

puzzles

There will be a family celebration of life at a later date.
