Marilyn Mertes

Marilyn Jean DuBois Mertes was born on August 25, 1954 in Devils Lake, North Dakota and passed away at Barrett's Hospital on February 3rd, 2015 at 11:15AM. Marilyn drove truck for 22 years, waitressed and bartended before retiring. She loved to spend her time with her grandchildren, friends and other family members. Marilyn was talented in many areas. She was an excellent artist and took pride in the jewelry and beadwork she made. She leaves behind her daughters; Jessica Merritt and Josette DuBois. Her Grandchildren; Derrick, Coty, Bailee and Payton. Her mother, Clemence "Cis" Siebert. Her siblings, Dave G. Dubois Jr (Terry), Diane Fox, Shirley Chrisrtensen, Richard DuBois (Paula) and many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was proceeded in death by her father Dave G. DuBois Sr., her brother Kenneth J DuBois Sr. and numerous Aunts and Uncles.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to High Peaks Federal Credit Union or Brundage Funeral Home to help family with expenses.
