Linda Guinard

August 19, 1945 — March 14, 2022

Linda Louise (Harris) Guinard was born on 19 August 1945 to Estella May (Boynton) Harris and Clark Valentine Harris in Salt Lake City, Utah and chose to die on 14 March 2022 in Dillon, Montana. She was the oldest of 5 children; Linda (1945), Sandra (1947), April (1949), baby boy (1957), and John (1962). Missoula, Montana and the surrounding communities is where mom and her siblings were raised. She spent her elementary years at Bonner Elementary School passing eighth grade in the spring of 1959 and beginning her high school education in the fall of 1959 at Missoula County High School later graduating in the spring of 1963. The year 1963 was a great year for mom. She graduated from high school, turned 18, and met, fell in love with, and married the man of her dreams—Larry Ray Guinard. Mom turned 18 on the 19th of August and married Larry on the 23rd of August in Salmon, Idaho. They were later sealed for all time and eternity in the Idaho Falls Idaho LDS Temple on 30 August 1977. Mom and Dad were blessed with 7 children, 4 of whom they raised to adulthood. Linda (1965), Laura (1967), Lucretia (1970), Larry, Jr. (1979), twins LaRay and LaVona (1980), and LeGrand (1982). They moved around a lot for the first 12 years of their marriage but they finally picked Dillon to call home in 1975. They would later divorce in 1989. Mom worked 2 jobs in Dillon, Pizza Hut and Town Pump. Most will remember her from Town Pump and the smile that she always shared when you stopped in. There were 3 fs that were important in mom’s life; family, friends, and faith. She loved unconditionally, always supported her family and friends, and lived her faith. Life experiences all give us a different perspective of how we are seen by others and how we view our life. Most would say mom was a positive hardworking compassionate woman who took her life in stride. Life may have knocked her to her knees but she always stood back up for another go around. She taught many, including her family, about faith and resilience through her example. Those welcoming her home are her parents Clark and Estella Harris, a baby brother, sister Sandy Fincher, son Larry Jr., and daughters LaRay and LaVona. Those that are working on making the world a better place are her daughters Linda (Bill) Herrin of Dillon, MT. and family Kyle (Marietta) Herrin and children Daniel, Natalie, and Emily, Bryan (Emily) Herrin and children Jack Reep and Ivey Herrin, Marques Herrin, Kat (Jeremy) Matz and children Jacob, Krista, Chase, and Alexis, Bradi (Eric) Boeshans and children Jessica, Austin, Madilyn Boeshans and Arabella Herrin, Matthew (Courtney Henderson) Herrin, and Kim Herrin.
