Ines Louise Wheekly

Ines Wheekly, beloved wife, mother and avid conversationist, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on February 22nd, 2024.

Born in Corsica South Dakota, Ines brought warmth and joy to everyone she met. With an infectious love for chatting on the phone, she connected deeply with friends and family near and far.

Ines leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, cherished by her four children, Floyd (Missy, Travis, Teryn & Jessica) Eldon (Gayle), Janice (Jim, Matt, Elizabeth, Jason & Chrissy) and her youngest son Ivan. She was a devoted partner to her husband Joe Wheekly, with who she shared countless memories, until his passing in 2014.

Ines will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering positivity, and the countless lives she touched through her genuine connection. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of life for Ines will be held in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Beaverhead Animal Shelter in her memory. May her spirit live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
