Gilbert Baker

Gilbert W. "Tack" Baker, 87 passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Parkview Acres in Dillon.        He was born December 25, 1926 in Couer D'alene, Idaho to Clyde P. & Eleanor Mitchell Baker.  He graduated from high school in Prineville, Oregon and from the University of Oregon.  He married Barbara Moore in 1952 in Chico, California and she is preceded in death by him.      He worked for Diamond Match Co. as a mill work salesman and after his retirement he moved to Dillon in 1991.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara, his sister Jane and his niece Elizabeth.      He is survived by his niece Laurel Perkey, Cousins Bill Mitchell, Tom Mitchell, Ann Mitchell Morgenstern, John Baker, and Mary Jane Baker Fitch.        At his request cremation has taken place and burial will be conducted at a later date.
