Darlene Rae Johnson

Darlene Rae Johnson, 86, of Dillon, Montana, passed away Thursday, February 15^th, 2024, at home surrounded by family. Darlene was born February 12, 1938, to Harold and Marie (Kudzia) Selway in Harrison, MT.  They moved to Dillon right after she was born, where she was raised and graduated from Beaverhead County High School.  Shortly after high school she married Kenneth Dye.  In the mid-70’s, Darlene married Roger Johnson.  The couple enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and after retirement they took up golfing. In her free time, she also enjoyed wood crafting and making puzzles. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother Jack, and sister-in-law Patty.

Darlene is survived by her two sons, Lester (Dana Michelle) Dye, of Park City, UT, and Troy (Mary) Dye of Dillon, MT, brother Butch Selway of Dillon, MT, sister-in-law Wanda Selway of Stevensville, MT. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. 

In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to any veteran organization of your choice in Darlene’s name.
