A Life Well Lived
Psalms 23:1, 4, 6
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death... You are with me. I shall dwell in the House of the Lord, forever! "Wow, what a promise from God."
Our Savior's Lutheran Church was the family of Clarence. He served as a Deacon, a Church Council member and shared Sunday messages when a pastor was not available. He loved to read Scripture on Sunday and every day. Leading and participating in Bible Studies invigorated him. You could often hear him exclaiming, "Wow" over one verse or another.
Clarence enjoyed time hiking, camping and being out of doors with his son, Jerry, and his daughter, Laurie. We all enjoyed taking field trips - trips out to the woods and around the back roads and scenic roads near Dillon. We were often together.
He is survived by his sisters: Janice in West Jordan, Utah, Wanda in Hartford, South Dakota, sister-in-law Ruth in Bremerton, Washington, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as his son and daughter. In death, he was preceded by his beloved wife Margaret, his brother Marvin, his brothers-in-law: Chester (Janice), and Chuck (Wanda), and his parents Henry and Hulda Koepplin.
