Bruce Garfield Power

Bruce Power, age 69, passed away on September 19, 2026 in Dillon, Montana. He was born in March of 1957 in Massachusetts, and born again in March of 1989. He served in Unites States Army, after which he returned to New England where he met Cheryl Perugini, and the two were married in 1980.

Cheryl and Bruce were married for forty-six years, and were blessed with four children and nine grandchildren. In 1995, their family moved west to Salt Lake City, and in 2013 he and Cheryl settled in Montana. Despite being at home in the west, he remained a devoted Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed bluegrass music, golf and fishing, and was a force to be reckoned with in any trivia competition.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Dorothy Power, and by his brother, Robert Power.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans Foundation.
