Peggy Corr

September 22, 1931 — November 9, 2018

Peggy Rolfe Corr, loving wife, mother, and community volunteer, passed away on November 9, 2018, while preparing for an evening of bridge with her very dear friends. Peggy was born in Dillon, Montana on September 22, 1931. She was the youngest of four children born to Robert and Valentine Rolfe. She was raised in Missoula, Montana where she met and grew up with her husband, Jim Corr. The two traveled around Montana as Jim taught and coached throughout the state. Her children loved hearing the stories of their many challenges living in some very interesting conditions. Peg spent many hours in the bleachers of sporting events supporting her husband, children and grandchildren as she proudly cheered them on while disagreeing with most of the referees. Through it all, Peg was a source of strength to her husband and family. Together Peg and Jim raised five children, Dan (Mary) Corr, Mickey Corr, Kathy (Mike) Hilton, Patty (Jeff) Seidensticker and Ginny (Tom) Waldorf. They settled in Dillon in 1963 where Peg became active in her community and church. Perhaps one of her most note-worthy and proud accomplishments, other than raising her children, was starting the St. Rose Catholic Church Bargain Basement. She dedicated herself to this project for over thirty years and was quite proud of the way the Basement serves the community today. She will be deeply missed by many. She is survived by her children Dan, Kathy, Patty, and Ginny as well as eight grandchildren and one very adored great-granddaughter. Peg was preceded in death by her son, Mickey, and her husband Jim. Both passed away in September of 2017. While we are all greatly saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing they are now together. We love you Mom.
