Lucille Nellis

Lucille L Nellis, with her family by her side, passed away peacefully at her home in Dillon, MT on June 20, 2017 at the age of 102. Lucille has lived in Dillon with her daughter Phyllis since 2004. Lucille was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, wife, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a role model, teacher, matriarch, artist, author and a good listener. A friend to anyone she touched with her wisdom and compassion. Lucille is survived by 7 of her 8 children, who live throughout the western US. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Lucille became a widow at age 56. Her gypsy spirit kicked in and she traveled extensively to visit her children and grandchildren, many times kidnapping a grandchild to share in her adventure. Lucille will be greatly missed.
