John Valach

June 16, 1981 — January 16, 2018

John Francis Valach joined his beloved grandparents in heaven on January 14 after a short illness. John was born on June 16, 1981 to Jim and Lori Valach. He attended Dillon schools and graduated from Beaverhead County High School in 1999. He enrolled at Western Montana College on an art scholarship. John was a talented artist and our home is filled with his beautiful artwork. After college he worked at Paul’s Chevrolet in Dillon and was instrumental in establishing The Quick Lube. He was later employed at Belgrade Auto Lube. His family would like to thank Kevin and Peggy Lucas for their kindness and friendship. At the time of his passing he was employed by Bozeman Ford where he loved his job and coworkers. John’s family is thankful for the kindness and support of his Bozeman Ford family. John loved camping, snowboarding, hiking, photography, painting and bowling. He also had a love and vast knowledge of music. He always looked forward to his Tuesday night bowling league.John is survived by his loving parents Jim and Lori Valach, brother and sister-in-law Nick and Susanne Valach and special nephew Christopher Valach who was his “main dude.” Aunts, uncles and cousins include the Greg Trenary Family of Helena, the Tom Sheetz Family of Sidney and honorary grandmother Rosie Brown of Dillon. An extended Valach family mourns his loss as well as his beloved dog, Roxie. Johnnie was our loyal, sweet, funny, artistic and hardworking son. He prided himself in offering the finest customer service at Bozeman Ford. Special friends always put a smile on John’s face – you all know who you are. A private service was held where John was blessed into heaven by Father Pascal Kasanziki. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. John’s family would like to thank Julie Briggs at Brundage Funeral Home for her help and compassion during this difficult time. Anyone wishing to make a donation in John’s name is asked to send it to St. Rose of Lima Parish, 226 South Atlantic, Dillon, MT 59725. We will always remember J-Man with his quick smile, bear hug and a “howww ya doin” in his best Joe Walsh voice. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
