Jodine Brown

January 18, 1939 — January 16, 2020

Jodine (Jody) P. Brown Jody passed away peacefully while surrounded by family at Barrett Hospital in Dillon on January 16th, 2020. She was born on January 18th, 1939 in Livingston, Montana to Robert Earl and Mildred Ellen (Breeden) Woodhull. On September 3, 1955 Jody married Fred Charles Brown. They had two children, Johnnie Robert and Ronny Jodine. In the early 60’s Fred and Jody started fencing and together built a successful business, Brown Fence Contractors. Jody was an incredibly hard worker and she worked tirelessly by her husband’s side for over 40 years. Jody loved to sing and read and was an amazing cook, she could whip up a tasty meal for an army with whatever happened to be on hand. She loved being outdoors, wildlife, and rock collecting. Jody had a knack for making living things thrive, and she would care for people, plants and animals, all of which would flourish under her care. Jody spent her life caring for others and loved her family fiercely. She is survived by her husband Frederick C. Brown, daughter Ronny J. (Chuck) Wilson, brother Terry Lee Woodhull, grandchildren Freddi (John) Christensen, Joni (John) Neal, Nikki (Paul) Rust, Donald James Wilson, and Donald Ray Wilson and many great-grandchildren and other family members. She is preceded in death by her mother Mildred (Breeden) Wade, father Robert Earl Woodhull, and son Johnnie Robert Brown. We wish to send a special thank you to all of the amazing doctors and staff at Barrett Hospital and Healthcare.
