March 16, 1931 - September 19, 2017
Charlotte Bianchi’s spirit was released and she passed through that great opening to heaven, on September 19, 2017. She was born in Hopedale Labrador, Newfoundland March 16, 1931. As a young woman, Charlotte met and married a handsome serviceman; Everett “Ed” Bianchi. The young couple originally made their home in California, before moving to Montana in 1971. They were later divorced. Charlotte made her own sunshine. Her infectious sense of humor, sharp wit, and laugh was appreciated and cherished by all that knew her. She retired from working at Parkview Acres Convalescence after 16 years. Co-workers always knew a shift with Charlotte would be a good one. Her ability to laugh and make light of most situations are what made her a friend to so many. Charlotte was an exceptional nurse's aide, dedicated to her patient’s. Countless occasions found her sitting with, and giving comfort to patients who had no-one. Go to the nursing home and kiss everyone was her motto. She loved cooking, and one of her special stews or soups was always on the stove. A trip to her house always provided that wonderful aroma of a home cooked meal. Charlotte was afraid to drive and never had a driver’s license. Before her illness, she could be seen walking all over town doing her errands. She also loved yard sales and that endless quest for that “great bargain” or “antique piece” to add to her collection. However, above all the most important thing in her life was her children. As a single mother she would go without herself to provide those little “extra’s” for her children. Her death has left a heartache no one can heal, her life leaves us with memories and love no one can steal. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents in Newfoundland and a son Everett of Dillon. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Kathie Bianchi and granddaughter Randi Rufenach. Son Nathan (Scott Clark) of Washington; and granddaughters Kris Wunder, Tonya Hunt, and Tara Bianchi. Daughter Marguerite “Sissy” Bianchi (Don Huss) of Dillon and grandsons John and Herb Selvidge. Daughter Debbie Thornton (Gary) of Dillon and grandson Levi Wayman. No service will be held. Cremation has taken place and the family will gather to celebrate her life. Keeping in line with Charlotte’s love for animals, memorials may be made to the Dillon Human Society.
