Amelia Scribner Rand

September 10, 1937 - December 11, 2020

Amelia (Amy) Scribner Rand was born to Homer and Adeline Scribner on September 10, 1937 in Fort Benton, Montana. She passed away Friday December 11, 2020 in Dillon. Amy grew up in Geraldine along with her older brothers Royce and Ronald. She attended public school there, graduating from high school in 1955. Her mother passed away when she was six years old and her father remarried. They added a son, Ward and a daughter, Nina. Amy moved to Billings in 1955 and worked as a waitress. She met and married Stanley Rand in 1956. Born to them were three children, Tim, Rena and Lonny. The family moved to Dillon in 1965. Amy worked at Safeway for 27 years, retiring in 1999. Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Adeline, her husband Stanley, brothers Royce and Ronald, daughter Rena and son Tim. She is survived by her brother Ward(Rosalie) and sister Nina, her son and daughter in law Lonny and Sondra, two grandchildren, Kami and Brian, five great grandchildren; Dean, Gage(Cheyenne), Eli, Kaden and Emma, two great-great grandchildren, Bodie and Grayson, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins and her many dear friends. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
